As you develop your own system for creating open textbooks within your local publishing program, you will create resources that are helpful to others. Please consider openly licensing your resources. This not only supports your colleagues, but also contributes to a vision of a more open higher education landscape.
Examples from Unit 3 may include:
An author handout that explains what project management roles are/not provided by you and your organization.
Open license education, consultation and compliance materials.
Open textbook project scheduling tips and tricks; development timeline template.
Helpful tools for coordinating freelancers.
Your publishing organization's quality control priorities, and how you practice them.
Templates for communicating with authors.
Contact Karen Lauritsen (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have created a resource for this unit you would like to share.
