Guiding questions
- How could you design groups, and teams (if you use these) to support learning/learners?
- How could you invite non-dualistic perspectives and perspective taking into your class?
- How could you sequence interactions with targeted evaluation and feedback?
Stage 1: Planning for learning
- Ensure that you have alignment in your learning plan; the goals, assessments, activities all support each other
- Integrate authentic content. Use current issues or problems, create multimedia case-based scenarios, use web resources that students will be able to use even after they graduate.
- Learner choice. Where could you allow students to make choices about content, assignments, or activities.
- Welcome students!
Stage 2: Learning activities
- Show enthusiasm.
- Provide learner choice.
- Be present; either in person or online.
Stage 3: Learning assessments
- Integrate authentic assessments.
