Exploring good practices for using learning analytics with the “Review, Amend, Apply” framework
Welcome! At the University of Minnesota, as a community, we are exploring tools that give instructors access to Canvas learning data. The purpose of this site is to offer you a framework for gathering, assessing, and applying that data effectively. While data provides a starting point, it's important to note that a dashboard cannot provide the full picture that determines if students are engaging in courses.
The "Review, Amend, Apply" framework will enable you to address students' learning needs using Canvas learning data and evidence-based practices. This framework isn't specific to a tool, practice, or classroom: rather, it provides a straightforward, flexible strategy that you can integrate into your existing practices.
