Introduce Yourself!

This activity is due Feb. 28. For this activity, we'll use the Flipgrid video discussion tool that will enable you to record a short video your instructors and other course participants can also view.  When you're ready to begin, scroll down and enter the grid password and the "Let's Go" button. Then select the large green "+" plus button to add your recording to Flipgrid. Additional tutorial information is also available from Flipgrid.com.

Tips:

• Before recording, prepare what you'll say or jot a few notes. You'll have a 1-minute recording limit. You can re-record as often as you wish, if needed.
• Consider sharing information regarding your favorite travel destination or something about yourself that we can't tell just by looking at you (e.g., a favorite food, latest binge-watch, unusual hobby, etc.).
• For best results, check that your camera angle frames your face and that you have a good lighting source.
• Using a mobile device or smartphone? Get the Flipgrid App and enter code: 5a471d3e
• Note: If you are using a mobile device, please follow these steps to upload your video to FlipGrid:

  • Once you record the video,  press the arrow in the bottom right corner to review the video.

  • Press the arrow again to get to the selfie step.

  • Take a selfie and press the arrow again. Add in additional information if you choose, and then click "submit my video." That will put your video on the Grid!
