Technical Requirements for Using Respondus LockDown Browser

The quizzes and the final exam for this course will use the Respondus LockDown Browser to ensure academic integrity for online exams so that all students are evaluated fairly. It is a browser that prevents students  from printing, taking screenshots of exam questions/answers, visiting other websites, or accessing other applications on their computers. 

To optimize your experience with with Respondus lockdown browser during the exam,  make sure you have: 

• a computer (desktop or laptop) - mobile devices can NOT be used 
• an Internet connection that is:
  • reliable: hard-wired connection preferred
  • dedicated: you are the only one using that specific router/modem for internet connection during the exam (if possible)
• a quiet  room which can be used without interruption
• Respondus LockDown browser 2.6 installed on your computer
• Cleared your cache and deleted browsing history

You are required to take a practice test to check your internet connection, hardware and software. If you have any problems accessing and completing the practice test, let me know asap.
