Setting and Communicating Expectations about Online exams

We strongly encourage instructors to define and communicate to  your students what the course expectations are for academic integrity.

• Provide and make sure students are familiarized with the Honor Code.  Here is an example of the College of Vet. Med. Honor Code.
• Have students  complete the Honor Agreement for the course and/or for each exam.
• Share privacy and security notices.   Here is the most recent, April 20, 2020, security alert re: Proctorio. 
• Remind students of confidentiality obligations
• Outline additional exam-specific expectations and rules
• Define authorized behaviors
• Make sure students are aware of consequences for engaging in unauthorized behavior
