UDOIT Suggestions

When the UDOIT report generates both Errors and Suggestions for a page, the second set of issues you will see are the Suggestions. Here is the list of Suggestions that will be explored in this guide:

Image elements should have an "alt" attribute*
All img elements have associated images that do not flicker
Link text should be descriptive
Consider adding headings to your document to create more structure*
Avoid using styles for document structure*
Avoid using color alone for emphasis*

Each of the Suggestions that end in an asterisk (*) have the possibility of being a false positive--a result that can be ignored as the accessibility issue has been handled in a way that UDOIT is not programmed to detect. These false results will be discussed in more detail on those pages and are listed with a brief description on Common False Results.
