Common False Results
No automated tool is perfect at identifying accessibility issues. As such, UDOIT will produce some false positive and some false negative results. Below is a list of results that may be false and a brief description of what makes them false. For additional information on identifying false results view the page for the result that concerns you.

Image elements should have an "alt" attribute.

- The bold text is not meant to be a heading.
-
Avoid using color alone for emphasis
- The text is not colored in order to create emphasis.
- The text has been bolded or italicized via the respective buttons in the Rich Content Editor toolbar.
- Other characters such as * have been used in addition to color to indicate emphasis.
False Negatives (require manual auditing and repair)
-
Insufficient text color contrast with the background.
- Insufficient color contrast between colored text and its colored background will go unnoticed by UDOIT if the text has a 4.5:1 or greater contrast with white.
