R installation

To complete the homework assignments, you are allowed to use either the terminal (command line) or any R IDE with R 4.0.1.

R installation

For macOS and Windows users, here is the link to download the R installer: https://cloud.r-project.org/ Links to an external site.

For Linux users, please select the corresponding system and follow the instructions to install the R: https://cloud.r-project.org/bin/linux/ Links to an external site.

If you are not familiar with the terminal (command line), we HIGHLY recommend you to install RStudio Desktop, an R opensource IDE, as RStudio provides a set of useful tools for R programming, including an R console, syntax-highlighting editor, and tools for plotting, debugging, and workspace management.
