      • Metsola is from Malta and is anti-abortion but pro-LGBTQ+ rights- this is a topic in question from many journalists right now. However, she has stated that she will represent the European Parliament’s view on sexual and reproductive health rather than her own. She is a lawyer by trade, and has served as a legal advisor to British politician Baroness Ashton, who was then the EU’s top diplomat. It was also of interest that Metsola is Maltese, considering that Malta is the smallest member state of the EU.

      • Glasgow has been transformed into Gotham City as filming begins for the upcoming Batgirl movie. Scene dressers have transformed shop fronts, positioned police cars and cabs, and brought in a graffitied Batman mural to bring the fictional universe to life.
