New Zealand is opening its boarders after being shut for almost two years. So, vaccinated Australians can go home without a state mandated hotel quarantine now. They only need to isolate themselves at their house for 10 days. Compared to the rest of the world, the cases and deaths in New Zealand have not been as high. The closed boarders have been good for people in the country, but for others not in New Zealand wanting to go home, it is very difficult to get back in. Many people have had to miss weddings, funerals, etc. because of not being able to get in. So, the boarders being more open is something many people are excited about.
