Scotland Electricity prices skyrocketing

A Scottish mom by the name of Mary Quinn has been paying up to 50 pounds ($67.64 in U.S dollars) a day for electricity. This adds up to about 1400 pounds every month($1893 in U.S dollars). Come April, the electricity prices are supposed to rise by another 40%. Mary is currently living with a brain aneurysm and kidney problems and now has to find a second job just to pay for electricity. Mary is just one of many people that are struggling to even pay their electricity bills. Mary is starting a movement with her village community but has made no progress yet. The Scottish Power company assured them that there is no fault with their meters.
