- Belgium's “Freedom Convoy” reached the Capital of Brussels.
The Freedom Convoy reached the city on February 14 in protest of Covid-related regulations the Country has in place. The city’s main concern was the capital city being taken “hostage” by the protesters, which many assumed were coming from France from a separate protest. Many of the roads leading into the city were blocked and most traffic is on foot since the city has a ban on motorized protests.

- Belgium Approves Four Day Work Week
On 2/14 the country of Belgium approved a four-day work week along with giving people the freedom to ignore work messages after work hours without consequences. This change came due the changes the pandemic had on people and how they worked has ultimately changed. With this change employees will be able to choose between the standard 8-hour day or most businesses will have the option for employees to work four, 10-hour days. This change will help people be able to spend more time with their families as well as have the opportunity to enjoy three days off.
