Hypothes.is

Learning Tool Difficulty Rating Level 2 out of 5

This week we will try out the social annotation tool Hypothes.is to annotate together the "Interpretive schemes supporting OEP" section of the article "Practicalities of implementing open pedagogy in higher education" by Michael Paskevicius & Valerie Irvine.

Hypothes.is a social annotation tool that allows users to annotate the web anywhere. It is very commonly used in open pedagogy experiences with students throughout higher education. The goal of this prework is to allow you to get hands-on experience using Hypothes.is so that you can dream up interesting ways to use it in your courses, or to have experience using Hypothes.is so you can share it with the instructors you support at your institution.
