Session 4 - Prework

This week kicks off with two readings, three videos, and exploring an Hypothes.is activity.

Readings

Read Knowing the difference between digital skills and digital literacies, and teaching both Links to an external site.. (4:18 minutes).

Read Scaffolding and Fading Links to an external site. (1:22 minutes) 

Annotation Exercise

Before beginning this exercise, read the instructions for setting up a Hypothes.is account. Then, annotate the excerpt titled: "Interpretive schemes supporting OEP" (excerpt is the last section before the "Discussion of the Findings").

Once you have followed all the Hypothes.is instructions, you can begin annotating the article. Navigate your browser to Hypothes.isLinks to an external site., click About Us and select Paste a Link. Paste the article link (https://doi.org/10.1186/s40561-019-0110-5) into the search bar and click annotate. This will take you to the article link, but it will have a Hypothes.is annotation pane on the right side of the screen. Remember to scroll to the section titled "Interpretive schemes supporting OEP".
