Note of Encouragement

If publishing is new to you, here are some things to keep in mind:

There are lots of ways to publish. You can decide what's possible based on your context.
You can always change how you do things for the next project.
Making a book is a creative endeavor and therefore may involve a lot of subjective decisions.
Go easy on yourself, especially if you're new at this.
Try to seek collaborators who can work with uncertainty, especially in the beginning.
Take a break when you need to.
It's not a life or death situation, even when it may feel that way.
Deadlines are (usually) meant to be broken in publishing.
Ask others for help when you need it.
