We know that that the Action Plan can be daunting despite our attempts to "chunk out" the pieces of it throughout the program. As such, we want to give you a sneak peek at completed action plans and the template to get you thinking ahead about what you want your Action Plan to look like. We want your Action Plan to be as pragmatic and customized to your institution's needs as possible. In that respect, there is no one "right way" to create your Action Plan, but we have attempted to cull the most necessary elements of an impactful Action Plan in our template.
Please take a brief look at the template Links to an external site. (Make a copy if you would like to edit it.) and then review at least two other Action Plans (examples below), then address the following questions in a Word file or Google doc:
1. Based upon the template and the two Action Plans reviewed, what questions or concerns do you have?
2. Are there Optional elements that you think you will need to make your Action Plan impactful for your institution?
3. Are there any missing pieces/elements that you think should be added to either the Core or the Optional elements as you look ahead (*This question is optional; you do not have to address it.) and think about the needs at your institution?
Example Action Plans (We would love to collect more, so if you'd like to share yours at the end of the program, please let your instructor know!):
