Twenty-two Japanese Tourists Injured in a Bus Crash in Turkey.

On Thursday, a bus full of Japanese tourists crashed into a ditch in Turkey’s Afyonkarahisar province, approximately 155 miles south of Ankara. Twenty-two of the passengers on board were injured, with one passenger in critical condition. Each of the injured passengers were taken to hospitals in the Afyonkarahisar area.

The bus was carrying an unknown number of passengers from Balikesir to the Cappadocia region at the time of the crash. It is not known why the bus crashed, but video footage was captured of the bus rolled onto its side with its windshield blown out. An investigation has been launched regarding the cause of the crash to rule out foul play.
