GC Final Exam Overview
The Midterm Exam will be an open-book / open-notes essay exam made up of FOUR questions selected from GC Wk14 FINAL EXAM STUDY QUESTIONS (also referred to as the Annotate Study Guide).
The dropbox/annotated study guide covers all materials from Module 6-15, plus 4-5 question related to the entire semester.
Canvas Quiz Questions
I will be using Canvas Quizzes for this Exam. Please note:
- Canvas will assign each student FOUR questions at random from the final exam annotated study questions, so it's unlikely you will receive the same set of question as other students.
- Canvas will allow you to see all questions at once and you can move back and forth among questions, if you would like.
-
- Important!
- Save your work before leaving the question you are on.
- If you don't see all questions at once, be sure to let me know.

Materials Covered
Modules 7- 15
The Midterm will encompass all class materials up to and including the end of Module 6, including readings, lectures slides, videos, Canvas discussions and all other materials found in these Modules.
Note: When studying for the Midterm Exam, some students find it helpful to review a comprehensive listing off all Global Cultures readings, videos, or slides:
Annotated Questions Study Guide (Final Exam Question Recommendation Dropbox)
As a class, you contributed questions to the GC Wk14 FINAL EXAM QUESTION RECOMMENDATION DROPBOX. These questions have been edited and annotated by me, and will serve as the comprehensive Study Guide for the Final Exam.
Please note:
- Since your original contribution, I will have edited and annotated the questions to make it easier to respond to the question within a (roughly) 20 minute time frame.
- Note:
- Not all of the questions on the GC Wk14 FINAL EXAM STUDY GUIDE will be in the pool for the exam.
- There will be only one question in the pool on any given central topic. Duplicate questions, or questions that are essentially duplicate questions, will not be included. And the study guide will tell you which ones those are.
- Also, on the Midterm some questions submitted were better questions for the Final Exam. If the Midterm Exam Question annotations said something like, "this would be a better question for the Final Exam" that does not mean that it will be in the Final Exam Question Pool. Only questions from the GC Wk14 FINAL EXAM STUDY GUIDE will be in the Final Exam Question Pool.
- The "Current Affairs" question may be added as late as the weekend before the Final Exam, so check the GC Wk14 FINAL EXAM QUESTION DROPBOX/STUDY GUIDE for latest information before you take the exam.
- Not all of the questions on the GC Wk14 FINAL EXAM STUDY GUIDE will be in the pool for the exam.
