The higher education student experience is a challenge and a half. Anyone who has ever gone to college or university knows all too well that this is an experience that comes with more than its fair share of challenges and rewards. There are always ups and downs that come with studying any form of higher education. Quite simply, there is no way around it all. For me, being a student at the University of Minnesota, I can safely say that this is a university that has done everything that it possibly could to assist its students (including me, obviously) to succeed at every turn. It has been a journey and a half and it has not come without its testing moments. Of course, the whole point of higher education is to test and strengthen your academic, intellectual, professional, and even personal determination and resolve.
The stressful environment of a medical degree
This is especially true if, like me, you are a medical student. When I chose to study medicine, I knew that I was making the decision to study a field that was always going to be important and that without a doubt was going to come with more than its fair share of challenging experiences. I was excited to do it. I still am. The university that I have chosen has played a huge part in keeping my passion for the industry alive - and even strengthening it tenfold over the years. In addition to the university that I have chosen, a massive part of my drive to be better is that I have found study resources that have not only met my expectations but far exceeded them. For this reason, I feel rightfully challenged and more prepared than ever to embark on my medical career.
The exam prep resources that saved me
One fantastic example is the main resources that I utilised for my most recent exam. In the lead up to one of the most important exams of my life, preparing for the exam was actually much less stressful than I expected it to be, thanks to resources like the all in one resource for USMLE 1 exam. This resource made it so incredibly easy for me because it essentially gave me all the preparatory instrumentals to adequately and appropriately prepare to sit the USMLE 1 exam. For most of my exams, I feel a sense of anxiety about them...they are so important, of course, that I always want to put my best foot forward. While I was still nervous to sit the exam, I felt no anxiety and in fact I felt more prepared than ever to take it on and smash it out - all thanks to resources like the all in one resource I mentioned above.
How I am continuing to utilise these resources
Going forward, I am going to continue to utilise these resources so that I can continue to enjoy my studies and then my career, knowing that I am utilising the best possible resources to ace my exams and then to become the best medical professional that I can possibly be. It makes a world of difference to have the right support systems in place when studying medicine (or when studying any field, for that matter). Whether it is the school itself that you choose to study at or the resources that you utilise to get through the experience with relative ease and transparency. Trust me, I know.
