In the last class on Tuesday, we will have final project updates. These very short presentations are not part of your final project grade and will count towards class participation. They are intended to provide an additional opportunity for you to get feedback, and also for you to learn about what the other students in class are working on.
Project updates will follow a "90 second madness" format. This means that you should plan to say only 1-2 sentences for each of the following questions:
- What is your project concept?
- How much progress have you made so far?
- What are you plans to finish the project?
- What questions do you have that we could help with?
Your slides should be submitted in PDF format. Make sure to include a title slide! If you want to show a video, you can include a link to an online video (e.g., youtube) that can be opened very quickly. For group projects, only one person per group should submit the slides.
Slides are due on Canvas at 1pm on Tuesday, December 10. This is a strict deadline because I will need the hour before class to merge them all into a single deck.
Please note that due to the large number of presentations, we will need to start presentations immediately at 2:30pm. The time limit of 90 seconds per group is not flexible, so please plan accordingly.
