- Course assessment options might range from simple to more complex, and the appropriate solution will depend on specific course assessment needs and requirements.
- As assessment options become more complex, there is greater potential for technical issues, increased levels of student anxiety, and individual accommodation requests.
- Each online assessment option has limitations and will require time and effort to implement properly.
- Course assessment strategies should NOT be limited to online exams only. In fact, a combination of different assessment approaches and strategies will yield the best results.
