Step 4. Grading student work and providing feedback
Grading student work in a timely manner and providing relevant and frequent feedback are the most effective methods to help students stay motivated and productive.
- Allow students opportunities to revise and resubmit their work so that their mastery can develop over time. This is especially important if the assignment is new, and there might be misunderstandings about your expectations.
- Manage your grading load.
- Offer constructive feedback, i.e., clear, relevant, and timely
