Example: In-Video Quiz with Kaltura

Using Kaltura within Canvas, you can insert questions in the video that can be used as reflection statements, prompts, or knowledge checks. Students need to answer the questions to continue watching the video.

In-video questions can help students stay focused and engaged as they are watching a video and to help instructors better understand student learning.

A range of question types can be used, such as multiple-choice, true/false, and/or statements. Point value can be assigned to each question. When students finish watching the video, they will see the quiz summary with the total number of quiz points. 

Note: the points for the in-video quiz are not recorded in the Canvas Gradebook.
