Overview 3-2

Module 3 Week 3: (9/14)

Purpose

This module is designed to introduce you to basic part design and to help you understand how CAD programs utilize primitive shapes and Boolean operations to make parts.

Outcomes

After completing this module, you should be able to:

  • Recognize primitive shapes and boolean operations in Solidworks.
  • Create a part out of primitive shapes and Boolean operations.
  • Utilize multiple Features in Solidworks to make more complex part geometries i.e. shapes.
