Purpose

This module is designed to teach you about setting different tolerances and how to use different types of mates when creating assemblies in Solidworks.

Outcomes

After completing this module, you should be able to:

  • Understand different types of basic tolerances.
  • Create a simple assembly and edit the origin.
  • Utilize a distance or angle mate for adding parts to an assembly.
  • Utilize mechanical mates for adding parts to an assembly.
