Welcome to the Open Education Network's Train-the-Trainer workshop; we are excited to share it with you! While COVID-19 has presented us with some very unique challenges, it also presented the Open Education Network with an opportunity to support your learning and engagement around open education in one place that you will continue to have access to, and that you may return to as much as you like. We will continue to build in resources that meet your needs. Please remember that this course and the Open Textbook Library are available for you anytime!
We have created this course so that you can do the following:
- Become familiar with open education
- Learn more about OEN's strategy in engaging and empowering faculty in open education
- Use specific tools and techniques to grow open programs on your campus
- Connect with others in your local and the national open education community
How to Get Started
Ready to dive in? This resource is divided into multiple modules offered in chronological order. We know everyone is busy and balancing many things, so as you navigate to each page within the modules, we have labeled each "Essential" or "Dig Deeper." Those pages labeled "Essential" are ones we really want you to pay attention to because they provide foundational information, but if you are pressed for time, the pages labeled "Dig Deeper" are those that you can come back to later.
