Discuss

 This module continues the discussion regarding hazard communications. It reviews how benchmarking, performance criteria, and best practices can be incorporated into the system for continual improvement. 

Part 1. Initial Post

  1. Does OSHA require employees to be trained on each chemical an employee may be exposed to? If not, what is an acceptable alternative practice?
  2. You have just taken a position with a small university as the safety manager.  You must manage the environmental and safety aspects for the biology, chemistry, physics, English, mathematics, automotive technology, and an old sports arena.  How would you start this process, where would you prioritize the hazcom efforts and why?
