Student access to Excel
Excel on Students' Personal Devices
Excel is available as part of Microsoft Office, and current students can follow these directions for installing Microsoft Office. If you have questions with installing the software ask at the IT Helpdesk (250 Briggs Library).
Note that you will not have access to all of Excel's features when using a tablet or Chromebook, so if you need to use Excel in a class you should install the full version on your own computer, or use the version available on the computers in the campus computer labs.
Google sheets has improved in recent years, but is still not as fully featured as Excel, so should not be used when a class instructor is using Excel.
