- As usual, be sure you understand the cultural metaphors for Brazil and Argentina, and the specific reasons Gannon and Pillai chose music--the Samba and the Tango--to represent these two South American countries.
- Compare these two chapters with Ch. 21 "The Mexican Fiesta". There can be no Mexican Fiesta without Mariachi music.
