The purpose of the PSP Stakeholder Ethics & Values analysis is to widen consideration of your provocative statement by identifying a range of perspectives on the topic, the values associated with different perspectives, and the possible outcomes if this statement were to go into effect. This assignment may also help you to generate keywords for your group’s PSP Annotated Bibliography (next week). As a team, you will generate a stakeholder map, right vs. right value paradigms, and outcomes based on Kidder’s (2003) modes of thinking.

A stakeholder is a person or a group of people with an interest or concern in something. For this assignment, you will likely identify groups of people, but you may also identify specific stakeholders with positional power (like “CEO” or “CEOs”). Think about stakeholders from each level of SCM: Individual, Group, Community

Resources:

  • Template - Make a copy for your PSP group Links to an external site.
  • PSP Stakeholder Ethics & Values Analysis - Example Links to an external site.

Format: 2-3 pages, including matrix.

Audience: This paper will serve as an internal document to your group; it will be a resource that your group can refer back to as a guide for the variety of constituents, perspectives, and values that might be at play for your topic. Use this analysis as you are setting a strategy for collecting sources for your annotated bibliography assignment.

Cohesion & Flow:  Your matrix will be written in short phrases that may not be complete sentences. Your analysis, addressing the three modes of thinking should be written in paragraph for and should include transitional sentences, but does not need to include an introductory paragraph or a concluding paragraph.
