Online (synchronized) Lecture: Mondays, Wednesdays 8:30 - 9:20 a.m., Remote but synchronized lecture - you need to attend during the scheduled times

Live Laboratory (wear PPE, social distancing): Tuesdays (two sections), 8:30 a.m. - 12:35 p.m., 140A Plant Growth Facilities

Identification of major and minor potted (containerized) floriculture/nursery crops, including annuals, biennials, and perennials.
Understand the requirements necessary to maximize asexual (% rooting) and sexual (% seed germination) propagation and yield potential.
Be conversant in the cultural requirements for the effective and timely production of potted plants.
Understand, manipulate, and anticipate the effects of the five factors of plant growth for quality plant production.
Schedule crops according to the species’ growth requirements.
Maintain an organized system for collecting data.
Correctly summarize any experimental results, communicate these findings verbally and in writing to your colleagues, and develop recommendations.
Communicate through professional writing important information about your crop for the Review Paper.
Recognize quality-grown plants, using industry standards.
