The first country I think has some interesting news features is Thailand. Thailand has a population of 69.5 million and is made up of many cultures from bordering countries which have influenced today's Thai culture. Another interesting news feature of Thailand is that about 39% of the workforce is still involved in the agriculture.

The second country I took some interesting news features from is Saudi Arabia. Since the 2011 Arab spring,  tyrannical regimes in Egypt and Tunisia have been overthrown and Saudi Arabia has faced a fascinating struggle between the forces of tradition and modernity. Another interesting feature of Saudi Arabia is when the Saudi family erected a modern concert hall in 1989, there were no symphonies or operas for many years because of the conservative opposition’s insistence on strict Islamic standards. The first concert wasn't until 2008 and was performed by a German based group, Artis Piano Quartet.
